The Armed Forces have distributed food packages at low prices in different places of Farafra. 

The army started distributing foodstuff packages and deployed refrigerator trucks laden with meat at price of EGP 60 per kilogram, head of Farafra City Maj. General Mohamed El Adawy said. 

The army opened outlets selling foodstuff in New Valley Governorate to make up for inordinate price hikes caused by traders, he added. 

The government paid special attention for the development strategy in Farafra area which is considered a promising location for investment and agricultural projects, he said.
