Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Arabi conferred Sunday with UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura and his deputy Ramzy Ezzedine on the latest developments in Syria.
The talks took up the efforts exerted to solve the current crisis in Syria and combat terror.
Mistura apprised Arabi of the outcome of his recent visit to Syria where he met with Syrian officials.
The talks come within the framework of joint interest in the Syrian crisis, Mistura said.
Mistura asserted the importance of collective work to reach a solution for the Syrian crisis.
