Speaker of the Arab parliament Ahmed al-Jarawan denounced Israel's attacks on al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a press statement, al-Jarawan said the Zionist policies against Islamic and Christian holy places in al-Quds, aim at fomenting violence in the region and provoking the feelings of Arabs and Muslims.
He appealed to the international community as well as human rights organizations to put an end to Israel's aggression.
Ultra-Orthodox Jews, protected by Israeli soldiers, attacked Palestinian worshipers inside al-Aqsa Mosque recently.
