Arab League Secretary General Nabil El-Araby is due to visit Gaza next Thursday, the pan-Arab organization announced.
The AL chief will be accompanied by a high-ranking ministerial delegation.
This visit comes in solidarity with the Gaza Strip which was devastated during a 51-day Israeli war last summer.
The visit follows the success of a Gaza reconstruction conference that has recently been hosted by Egypt and during which international donors pledged a $5.4 billion aid for the devastated enclave's rebuilding process.
