Arab Meeting to Examine Anti-Corruption Methods

he committee comprised of government experts in the field of anti-corruption in the Arab world held Monday their second meeting, at the Arab League General Secretariat Headquarters.
In a statement released today from the Arab league said that the work of the committee will be presented at the second conference of State Parties to Arab Convention Against Corruption held in December this year.
The committee will discuss the guidance project of Arab mechanisms to return properties and its disposal. It will also discuss the guidance project of Arab mechanisms to implement the anti-corruption agreement, which will be done within the framework of the observation issued from the State Parties to the Arab Convention against Corruption.
The agreement aims to activate the measures needed to prevent, combat and disclose corruption in all its forms, and deepen the cooperation between Arab states in this field. It also tackles strengthening and spreading the law and encourage personnel and civil organizations to effectively stop and combat corruption.
