Arab League to hold emergency meeting to discuss Iranian interference

The foreign ministers of the Arab League will hold an emergency meeting here on Sunday, under the chairmanship of Djibouti's Foreign Minister Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, and at the request of Saudi Arabia, supported by the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait, to discuss ways to combat Iranian interference in Arab countries’ affairs.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, the ministerial meeting will be preceded by a meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee on intervention in the Arab internal affairs, which includes Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and Bahrain, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
