Cairo - MENA
Arab League (AL) chief Nabil el-Arabi has held Israel responsible for the collapse of indirect ceasefire talks with Palestinians in Cairo.
In press statements on Wednesday, Arabi accused Israel of blocking any kind of agreement leading to calm in the Gaza Strip.
"The Arab League wants to reach a permanent truce as soon as possible," Arabi said before flying to Geneva for a meeting on the protection of Palestinian civilians.
