Arab League chief Nabil el-Araby has slammed the terrorist bombings that hit Yemen on Friday, leaving scores of people dead and injured.
Araby has warned of violent acts and civil strife in Yemen, calling on all parties to renounce violence.
Araby voiced support for efforts exerted by Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi to bring about security and stability in the country.
He offered condolences to families of the victims.
At least 47 people were killed in a suicide bomb attack that targeted supporters of a Shia rebel group in the center of Yemen's capital, Sanaa, reports say.
The blast struck as hundreds of people were arriving in Tahrir Square for a demonstration called for by the Houthis.
Later, a suicide bomb attack on an army checkpoint in the eastern province of Hadramawt left 20 soldiers dead.
