Tunisian Foreign Affairs Minister Elmoundji Hamdi affirmed Thursday in Algiers that Algeria and Tunisia have the same view regarding the settlement of the Libyan crisis through reconciliation and dialogue.
In statements to the press at the end of his discussions with Foreign Affairs Minister Ramtane Lamamra, Hamdi said that his visit to Algeria “is part of the continuous coordination and consultation between the two countries on issues of common interest as well as regional issues particularly the Libyan crisis.”  
He said that the two countries have “the same view concerning the encouragement of the Libyan brothers to choose reconciliation and dialogue to find a solution to the crisis” in this country, adding that Tunisia “totally” supported the Algerian initiative for the settlement of the Libyan crisis.
Elmoundji Hamdi said that his visit to Algeria is part of the “strengthening of the strategic relations between the two countries, underlining the importance of the joint action to preserve the quality of these relations.
He also extended the congratulations of his country to Algeria on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the liberation war.
