Alexandria Criminal Court

Alexandria Criminal Court stepped down from the case against 71 defendants of the Muslim Brotherhood, citing embarrassment.
The defendants face charges of being involved in clashes which took place in el-Shatbi and el-Qaed Ibrahim areas, following the dispersal of two protest camps in Rabaa el-Adawya and Nahda Squares.
They stand accused of possessing weapons, inciting riots, terrorizing citizens and killing nine people.
The case was referred to the Alexandria Appeals Court to assign it to another court.
