The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Abdalla Al-Azraq, Monday received in his office the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Hassan Ahmed Al-Shihi, and discussed progress the relations between Sudan and the United Arab Emirates, especially in the economic and investment fields and ways to push ahead the bilateral relations for wider horizons.
Meanwhile, the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry has appreciated the UAE investments in Sudan, indicating that there are various investment fields in Sudan for companies and businessmen of the sister United Arab Emirates.
The UAE ambassador has lauded the deeply-rooted ties between his country and Sudan.
He also appreciated Sudan Foreign Ministry and the other concerned government institutions for their great cooperation with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Khartoum.
