Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that the state of Palestine will always be a patriotic entity seeking freedom, and that Palestinians will continue their resistance and struggle in all legal ways and international conventions, which will earn Palestine more friends and dishonor the occupation’s persecution and arrogance.
Abbas asserted through his phone interview during a festival in Jenin on Monday 15/9/2014 supporting him, and on the 32nd anniversary of the Massacre of Sabra & Shatila, that “The Palestinian Authority is facing new challenges. However, we still insist on encountering them with pride”  and that “the rights of the Palestinian martyrs and prisoners and injured people will be pursued until retained with a persistent will.”
Abbas also stressed that Palestinian people deserve to have national and international security, and have full  rights and freedom in their own country.
The President gave many thanks to the women, seniors, young men and children that were at the ceremony, and demanded them to support the Palestinian leadership’s decision to head to the security council to display the Palestinian cause and demand freedom and the right to have a Palestinian state with its historical capital: Jerusalem.
He added “the Israeli occupation tried to drag us down to its level of brutality in order to destroy our  accomplishments and our request of having our own independent state.”
Abbas also addressed the audience and saluted their persistence and steadfastness, and shared his hopes of having the supporters of justice and rightness stand with Palestine, and go to the United Nations. He said that there might be obstacles in the way, but this will strengthen his will to go to all international  organizations  in order to retain the Palestinian people’s safety, and condemn criminals.
