Prosecutor General Hisham Barakat ordered to remand seven defendants in custody for four days over immorality charges.
Earlier, the defendants appeared in a video that was posted on Youtube that showed them carrying out indecent and homosexual acts on a boat in the Nile.
The top prosecutor also ordered to arrest two other defendants and assigned forensic department to check all detained defendants.
