As many as 50 Iraqi soldiers were killed and injured in a blast that targeted a fuel station in Tikrit.
According to a statement by the military council of Tikrit revolutionists," the soldiers were deployed at the place before the blast which occurred near the highway to Tikrit.
The blasts reflects the government's inability to approach the city, said the council.
