Five suspects were arrested Thursday in connection with the blasts that took place earlier on Thursday near el-Sayed el-Badawi shrine in the Nile Delta city of Tanta, a security source said.
The arrestees are being interrogated, the source said.
Footage from cameras of a nearby restaurant was obtained to help in investigations, the source added.
The blast left a policeman and a worker injured, according to an Interior Ministry statement.
Earlier Health Ministry reports said 11 people were wounded in the blasts.
