Security forces arrested on Monday five members of the Muslim Brotherhood in Mahalla, Zefta and Samanoud towns of Gharbiya governorate.
Earlier, the public prosecution issued arrest warrants for the five over rioting and inciting violence charges.
They were arrested with anti-police/army leaflets in their possession.
