Some Syrian refugees have crossed the border into Jordan

Some 409 Syrian refugees have crossed the border into Jordan over the past 48 hours, a source at the General Command Headquarters of the Armed Forces said on Tuesday.
The source added that border guards received the new group of displaced Syrians, among them children, women and elderly people, and had provided urgent humanitarian aid to them before transporting them to the Azraq and Zaatari refugee camps.
More than 600,000 Syrian refugees have crossed into the Kingdom since the conflict in the country began in March 2011.
