Four Tunisian soldiers were injured Friday near the border with Libya during a clash with smugglers, the Tunisia Ministry of Defense said.
In a statement, the ministry said about 30 trucks carrying subsidized commodities were on way to enter Libya, but they were encountered by a passing border guard patrol.
A truck collided into a military vehicle leaving four soldiers injured, the statement said, adding, the accident happened when a smuggling truck's driver took the risk to go ignoring warning gun shots.
