The 32nd meeting of the Arab Justice Ministers Council started Thursday its 32nd session at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League.
The meeting, under Iraqi Justice Minister Haider al Zamili, will discuss promoting Arab and international cooperation in the judicial and legal fields, along with activating Arab judicial agreements related to counter-terrorism.
The convocation of the council came at an invitation of AL Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit and in accordance with Article 8 of the council's statute.
Participants are scheduled to discuss draft resolutions referred by the 59th meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Arab Justice Ministers Council.
The draft resolutions are related to the establishment of an Arab judicial cooperation network to fight terrorism and organized crimes and the circulation of an Arab bill on helping victims of terrorist acts.
