National Guard units in Medenine arrested, on Friday, two people in a van in possession of 20 hunting guns gauges 16 hidden in the trunk of the vehicle.
Police interrogation helped reveal the identity of their supplier who was also arrested in possession of 14 other similar hunting rifles.
The three suspects were kept in detention, pending trial, according to a statement of the Ministry of the Interior issued Saturday.
