Bomb disposal experts managed on Friday to defuse three homemade bombs that were found in an unidentified car in Bahr Al Baqar village of Sharqiya governorate.
No casualties were reported.
Security forces cordoned off the area and combed it to find any other expected bombs.
The car was handed over to the Armed Forces.
In the meantime, security forces launched a security campaign in which they arrested 11 people suspected to be affiliated to Takfiri groups.
A probe was launched into the incident.
