Twenty-four Egyptian nationals arrived at Cairo airport on Tuesday after being deported from Italy for illegal residence.
The deportees arrived in Egypt aboard a jet from Rome. They were inspected by the airport authorities before entering the country to check their criminal record.
Italy is the top destination for illegal migration by Egyptians to Europe.
