Two days before the deadline of nominations, 24 candidates officially submitted their candidacy for the 2014 presidential poll slated for November 23 in Tunisia, independent presidential election commission reported on Saturday.
On Saturday, caretaker president and Honorary President of the Congress for the Republic Party Moncef Marzouki officially submitted his application.
Among the candidates are Beji Caïd Essebsi, candidate of Nidaa Tounes Movement and President of Tunisian National Constituent Assembly, Mustapha Ben Jaafar and two ladies.
