Abu Qirqas investigation unit arrested two thieves with as many as 500 pieces of the railway tracks and brake system laden on donkey-driven carts.
Minya Security Chief General Osama Metwali said he received a report that two youths, aged 18 and 25, were arrested while stealing railway pieces from a train station in a village in Abu Qirqas township.
Prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
