Two Iraqis died while 10 others were injured in a car bomb explosion in Samarra city of southern Tikrit, said security source Wednesday.
In a private statement, the source said to KUNA that the attack was apparently targeting a gathering of Shiite popular militia in the south Samarra district of Salah Uddin.
The sources added that ambulances ferried the injured to hospital for treatment. (end) mhg.te
