An explosive device went off Friday on the railway of Belbeis and another inside a public bus in Minya El Kamh city of Sharkiya province.
No casualties were reported.
Acting upon a tip-off, sappers and civil protection forces rushed to the scene to comb the area and search for any other explosive devices.
Two reports were filed and the prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
