Eighteen Syrians were able to escape Tuesday after being detained in a warehouse in Shmustar area, Eastern Lebanon.
Media sources said a group consisting of relatives of detained Lebanease soldiers kidnapped eighteen Syrians in Shmustar and imprisoned them in a warehouse.
Arsal had witnessed clashes early this month between the army and extremist groups which attacked military and security posts, which resulted in the death of several individuals in addition to the kidnapping of 35 military personnel, five of whom were freed.
