Seventeen members of the blacklisted Muslim Brotherhood group (MB) were arrested for attacking police stations and inciting violence.
They were arrested in a security campaign in the provinces of Port Said, Sohag, Qena, Assiut and Aswan.
They were referred to the prosecution.
