As many as 12 civilians, including children, were killed on Friday in Aleppo in an airstrike by Syrian regime army's choppers, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said.
The casualties occurred after a military helicopter bombed two buildings with barrel bombs, SOHR said.
Thousands of children were killed since the beginning of the Syrian revolution and conflict in mid-March 2011.
