Twelve people were killed amdn many others injured in a booby-trapped car explosion in Baghdad, the third car blast in the Iraqi capital on Friday, a police source said.
A suicide attacker detonated the car he was driving near Baghdad Tower Hotel in the area of Karrada in central Baghdad, the source told KUNA.
The explosion, he added, killed 12 people and injured 27 others.
Baghdad was a scene of two car bomb attacks earlier today killing and wounding scores of people.
