As many as 10 Daesh militants were killed and 18 others injured during a US-led collation airstrike on their sites in western Mosul, northern Iraq, a security source said Tuesday.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the coalition jets intensively bombed some sites belonging to Daesh, adding the airstrike was based upon some precise intelligence.
Iraq has been witnessing turmoil since Daesh militants seized large swaths of country in a brutal campaign.
