Two unidentified gunmen assassinated an officer in Aden.

The two gunmen were riding a motorcycle as one of them opened fire on officer Saleh el Yafie while he was going out of his home heading to the mosque to perform prayers, Aden Al Ghad newspaper quoted eyewitnesses as saying on Sun day.

A medical source said that they shot the officer, who was working in Aden Airport, from a suppressed pistol.

Meanwhile, the security authorities banned ridding motorcycles as it is used in assassination operations.
