Arab coalition air strikes hit Houthi targets in Taiz

Arab coalition warplanes conducted in the wee hours of Sunday air strikes against positions of Houthi militants and forces loyal to Yemen's former president Ali Abdullah Saleh in Ouman Mountain in eastern Taiz city.

According to sources affiliated with Public Resistance Forces, fierce clashes erupted last night between government forces and militants in the wake of a Houthi attack.

Yemeni forces managed to repel the attack that took place west of Taiz, forcing militants to flee the area.

Meanwhile, three Yemeni soldiers and civilians were injured in Houthi bombardment on government sites in Han mountain, western Taiz.

Saturday's clashes left at least six militants dead and nine injured, the media center of Taiz Military Council said.
