Arab coalition warplanes shell Houthi positions in Sanaa, Taez, Lahij

Arab coalition warplanes have shelled positions of Houthis and militants loyal to former Yemeni president Ali Abdallah Saleh in eastern Sanaa, Taez and Lahij governorates, Yemen Press website reported.

The shelling coincided with the Yemeni army and popular resistance rocket attacks on Nahem directorate in eastern Sanaa.

Fierce clashes with Houthi militants left 20 of them killed and scores of others injured, while five resistance elements were injured.

In Lahij governorate, the warplanes shelled the militants groups in Kersh border town and killed 10 militants.

In Taez, the Houthi militants attacked army positions in residential areas and killed 12 people from the army and civilians.
