Rockets hit Kabul’s diplomatic area

Two rockets fell near the headquarters of NATO’s Resolute Support mission in the diplomatic district in Afghan capital of Kabul early Saturday, Afghan officials said.

Sirens of the Resolute Support headquarters and a number of embassies in the area were heard at around 06:10 am (local time) shortly after the rockets landed, Sky News channel reported, quoting officials as saying.

No casualties or injuries have been reported so far, officials added. 

The diplomatic area comprises a number of governmental institutions and foreign embassies, officials noted.
