3 Taliban commanders killed in northern Kunduz province

At least 3 Taliban commanders were killed in the latest clash between the Afghan forces and the Taliban insurgents in northern Kunduz province of Afghanistan. 
According to the local security officials, the 3 Taliban commanders were killed in the outskirts of Kunduz city and Qala-e-Zal district. 
The officials further added that the Taliban commanders were identified as Sadam, Muhibullah Haqyar and Habib Naseri, Afghan News Agency (Khaama) reported. 
Commander Naseri was killed along with his 5 militants in the 1st police district of the city in Jar Gaz area, the officials said, adding that Sadam was killed along with his 8 fighters in Kota Khel area in the 1st police district of the city. 
The officials also added that commander Muhibullah was killed along with his 6 fighters in Qala-e-Zal district. 
According to the officials, commadner Muhibullah was an expert in manufacturing Improvised Explosive Device (IED) which is the main cause of civilians and Afghan forces casualties. 
The Taliban militants group has not commented regarding the report so far. 
Kunduz is among the volatile provinces in northern Afghanistan where anti-government armed militants are actively operating with the Taliban group launching a major offensive during the recent days with an aim to capture the control of the strategic Kunduz city.
