Israeli soldiers on Wednesday arrested 9 Palestinians in the West Bank, according to Palestinian sources. The sources reported that Israeli troops stormed the West Bank cities of Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Hebron and Nablus and arrested the citizens. Israeli occupation forces launch almost daily search-and-arrest raids in which dozens of citizens and activists are rounded up. In the same context, extremist Jewish settlers uprooted more than 800 olive seedlings from the lands of Sengel town, north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah. The town's Mayor Ayoub Swaid told Petra that the uprooted seedlings has been cultivated on an area of 200 dunums within a reclamation and afforestation project, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
