At least four people including two policemen were killed and 11 others were wounded in two different incidents in southwestern Pakistani province of Balochistan on Sunday, said a police official said. Mohammad Riaz told reporters a powerful blast on Sariab road area of Quetta city killed at least two people and wounded 10 others on Sunday. He explained the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device that was attached to a bicycle that was parked on a roadside. The blast damaged the shops nearby and the vehicles passing by. Bomb Disposal Experts said 6-7 kilograms of explosive material was used in the bomb. The wounded people were shifted to hospital and death toll is feared to rise. Security forces cordoned off the area and a probe into the incident was carried out. Moreover, another incident claimed lives of two policemen and injured another in Loralai area of Balochistan. Police said armed militants in a vehicle and motorbike opened fire at a police check post in Zangwal area of Loralai killing two policemen and wounding another. Security forces cordoned off the area soon after the incident but the militants escaped the scene unhurt.
