Vienna Mayor Michael Häupl will organize an Iftar banquet on Wednesday in honor of the Muslim community in Austria. 

Up to 200 people are expected to take part in the banquet that was held at Wiener Rathaus, the city hall of Vienna.

According to analysts, Häupl is keen on bolstering relations linking different groups in the Austrian community. 

Muna Duzdar, 37, was appointed Secretary of State to be the first Muslim woman in the Austrian government.
