The United States is sending 250 more troops to Syria to fight the ISIS.
US President Barack Obama will make the announcement on Monday in Hanover, Germany.
The US troops will be fighting along side Syrian local forces fighting the ISIS.
The US already has 50 special forces inside Syria taking part in the fight against ISIS, providing equipment, intelligence and training.
In Iraq, the US plans to send 200 more soldiers and Apache helicopter gunships in preparation for an offensive to retake Mosul, the country's second largest city, under ISIS control since 2014.
The US has been playing an increasing involved role in the Mosul operation. The new troops will bring the number of US military personnel in Iraq to nearly 4,000.
