After days of heavy rain, Egypt's Nile turns murky brown

The US Embassy in Cairo provided 50,000 dollars to the Egyptian Red Crescent to help those affected by torrential rains in Egypt.

In a press release, the embassy said that beside this funds, the US provided six trucks to the Assiut Drinking Water And Sanitation Company to contribute to improving sanitation services in several villages. 

The aid also include distributing food stuff, opening roads and dispatching medical convoys to the affected areas, added the statement.
