The United States on Thursday denounced as \"unacceptable\" reported Sudanese government air strikes inside the territory of the new state of South Sudan. \"Such incidents are unacceptable and threaten to escalate tensions between the two states,\" State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said in a statement.
