B-52 Bomber Aircraft

A B-52 bomber crashed at a US airbase on the Pacific island of Guam Thursday, with all seven crew unharmed, the U.S. Air Force said.

"A B-52H Stratofortress preparing to take off for a Continuous Bomber Presence mission aborted on take-off and caught fire at approximately 8:30 a.m. local time (on Thursday) on the Andersen AFB (Air Force Base) flight line," the 36th Wing Public Affairs Office at the Andersen Air Force Base said in a statement as quoted by ABC News.

"All seven aircrew members have safely egressed the aircraft," the U.S. Air Force said in a statement issued from the base. "No injuries have been reported. Emergency responders are on scene."
