US ambassador to Iraq Stuart E. Jones congratulated the Iraqi people on the victory their army scored in the Fallujah battle.

In press statements Monday, he said that his country's air force carried out 60 raids in the past weeks to help the Iraqi army liberate Fallujah.

He described as excellent the partnership between the Iraqi government under Haider el Abady and the US administration, pointing out that 800 million dollars had been earmarked to support the displaced in the Iraq.

The US diplomat also said the reports on violations by the military in Fallujah had not been verified so far, praising the role of the popular mobilization forces known as Al Hashd al Sha'abi in the war against Daesh.
