US Ambassador to Egypt R. Stephen Beecroft on Wednesday asserted that the Egyptian-US relations would remain strong whatever the outcome of the presidential elections is.

Addressing an open-ceremony to follow up the elections outcome, he said the coming US president is aware of the importance of cooperating with Egypt and realizing stability and peace in the region.

Earlier Wednesday, the CNN announced that Donald Trump won the elections.
