The United Nations (UN) Secretary-General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, welcomed the commitment of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa\'s and His Majesty\'s supporting the policy of dialogue. This came during a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and the UN Secretary-General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, on the side-lines of the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York City. The two sides explored aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Nations and means to support cooperation programmes in various fields. The meeting also discussed latest regional and international developments and current situations in Syria.
