Lebanese and Israeli military officials held a \"constructive\" meeting Monday on the violations of the border Blue Line. Representatives from the Lebanese and Israeli army held talks at a United Nations headquarters in Lebanon\'s border town of Naqoura in the presence of senior officers from the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). \"I am very pleased with today\'s deliberations that were held in a constructive atmosphere,\" UNIFIL Force Commander Major General Alberto Asarta Cuevas said following the meeting. \"I impressed on the parties to continue their positive engagement so that we can together build on the calm that has prevailed in our area of operations in the past several weeks,\" he said. According to UNIFIL, the meeting touched on the implementation of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701 , which put an end to the 2006 summer war between Lebanon and Israel, in addition to the situation along the border. Lebanon complains that Israel routinely violates its sovereignty through daily overflights and conversely Israel claims that Hezbollah is still increasing its arsenal in defiance of Resolution 1701
