Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Egypt, has met with Egypt\'s permanent delegate to the Arab League, Dr. Ali Abdel-Rahman, the Governor of Giza. During the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the embassy, the Governor offered his thanks to the UAE leadership, government and people for their continued support for Egypt. The Governor handed over a letter to the UAE Ambassador thanking H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for financial support ensuring the repair of damages to the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University and the rehabilitation of slum areas in the Giza province. Dr. Ali Abdel-Rahman also praised UAE-Egyptian relations and unique spirit of cooperation, coordination and mutual respect so as to achieve common interests, and expressed his wishes for continued stability and prosperity for the UAE under the wise leadership led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. For his part, the UAE Ambassador stated that relations between the UAE and Egypt are characterized by mutual respect, which reflects positively on overall bilateral relations at various levels, and said that he looked forward to more stability for Egypt, pointing to the continued support of the UAE to Egypt at all levels and aspects. The UAE Ambassador also met with a delegation from the General Conference for Egyptians abroad at the Embassy. The delegation included Nasser Abdul Aziz, head of the Egyptian Group in New York, along with other dignitaries who have all expressed their thanks and appreciation for the UAE\'s unlimited support for Egypt.
