Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan held Monday a telephone conversation with his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte to discuss the latest developments in Syria and Egypt. A source inside the Turkish Prime Minister’s office said that Erdogan stressed to his Dutch counterpart the importance of having the international community take serious steps to prevent the Syrian regime from using chemical weapons against the Syrian people. As for Egyptian developments, Erdogan stressed on the importance of beginning the democratic transition through involving all political powers without exclusion.
