Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki arrived on Monday in the Libyan capital of Tripoli for a two-day official visit, Tunisia\'s official TAP news agency reported. Marzouki was met by head of the Libya\'s National Transitional Council (NTC) Mustafa Abdul-Jalil upon arrival, when both leaders explored ways to broaden and promote bilateral cooperation, TAP said, adding it is Marzouki\'s first trip to a foreign country since he was sworn in last month. The Tunisian president is leading a delegation including the foreign affairs minister and Chairperson of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts Widad Bouchamaoui. More than 50,000 Tunisians had worked in Libya before the unrest erupted in the North African country. Most of them fled shortly after the unrest started in February last year.
